Jamming and GPS denial break unmanned operations before the mission even gets started. The Falcata Mission Module (FMM-L) is a small box that attaches to any drone or ground vehicle and keeps the command link and the navigation solution alive.
Radio jamming cuts the operator off from the vehicle. GPS jamming and spoofing feed it a false position. Either one is usually enough to end a mission, and modern electronic warfare does both as a matter of course — against drones, ground robots, and everything in between.
FMM-L attaches to the vehicle's existing autopilot and does exactly four things.
Command and telemetry travel over an AES-128 encrypted channel, so the operator keeps a secure line to the vehicle even under contested conditions.
FMM-L modules forward each other's traffic, extending the command and telemetry link's range without extra ground infrastructure.
Works with any ArduPilot or PX4 autopilot over MAVLink — no integration work required on the customer's side.
Detects GPS jamming and spoofing in real time and alerts the operator, instead of letting a bad fix go unnoticed.
FMM-L is a resilient command-and-control channel and a GNSS integrity monitor. It complements the vehicle's existing video datalink — it does not replace it, it carries no video, and it isn't a high-bandwidth link. We don't claim it's unjammable; we claim it keeps you in control and tells you when something's wrong with your GPS fix.
NÓTUS is Falcata's fixed-wing glider — the flight demonstrator we use to validate FMM-L hardware and software in real flight conditions before it goes on a customer's vehicle. NÓTUS is not the product. FMM-L is.
FMM-L is a prototype in active development. We're pre-revenue, with no customers yet.
Low cost per node means FMM-L fits on cheap, attritable vehicles, not just expensive ones. It's built for defense and for civil protection — wildfire response, search and rescue — wherever unmanned systems need to keep working under jamming and GPS denial.
Whether you're evaluating FMM-L for a specific vehicle or exploring funding this early stage, we're available to brief you directly.
